The Kid
I'm suppose to put together a bunch of lessons for one of my teaching classes, and the theme I'm going with is midevil times, this will be centered around a 4th or 5th class. I have around four more lessons to write does anybody have any ideas that would be fun for a fifth grade class to do that is educational?? thanks

m gardner
The climate during the Medievil period was a time of global warming and civilizations actually flourished. Then a Mini Ice Age occurred until the present times when it began to warm again. The Dark Ages before the Medievil times were a time of global cooling with crop failures, plagues, cold damp weather and just not a prosperous time. You may be able to do something to dispell the fear of "global warming" as a bad thing we need to reverse and/or control. I'm not sure how 4th and 5th graders could be presented this timely info, but It's important that they know. During the Medievil times the people had time for leisure and money for warfare and it was because they were well fed and prosperous.
