Turkeygirl
Got a 2011 Elite Hunter 50-60 ln, 25" DL on order as of today! Held a Mathews, held the hunter, went back and held the Mathews, then the Hunter...Shot the Hunter, said "This is the one." I couldn't quite get comfy with the Mathews grip...maybe it's my small hands but the Elite just felt great in my hand, bow sat there, no tipping, shot it, felt great...Can't complaint, one great bow! I felt like I was torn between the two because it seems "Everyone shoots Mathews so they must be good." Well all bow companies are out there but Elite is going to be quite the contender...I decided to go Elite, be a little different than the rest...Guess I fell in love at first sight 3 weeks ago with it. Now to figure out quiver/sight/arrows/possible stabilizer....don't want to get too high in $$$ but I have a feeling I'll be close to $1000 when all is said and done. Bow was $789...came to $858 after tax...already put $500 cash down for it.Guy said 2-3 weeks. I will also say he was very helpful and I felt very comfortable there. Leo
You will be happy with that bow for a long time I can tell you thought real hard about it but also looked at these bows with honest objectiveness. You will be rewarded for your efforts. Still a lot of decisions completing the setup, I know, but if you approach them with the same thoughtfulness I believe you will be very happy. dbHunterNY
Good for you Ruth! Be sure to post some pics when you get a chance. ...yea lots of pictures. What I've got: QAD Pro HD rest, G5 meta peep, Fuse Pilot sight (just got carbon five pin. it has 2nd and 3rd axis adjustment.), Doinker field stabilizer, alpine soft-loc quiver. The Tight Spot quiver is nice and light and will help keep a nice balance. I'd look at that too. Just tossing out some options. Congrats on reaching a decision on the bow. I'm sure it'll see lots of use.

pruts
Good for you Ruth! Be sure to post some pics when you get a chance. .... I agree pictures are always great. Can't wait 'till I get to pick a bow for myself. Bought one second hand all set up from a friend, just to get started but it's a little small for me. It will be a while before I get to buy a new one but I can't wait none the less. Congratulations on the purchase

Jeramie
You will shoot a bow that fits you twice as good as a bow that doesnt no matter who makes it. Congratulations on the new bow! Hopefully it puts a lot of deer in the freezer.
