Have not been spending much time here due to personal reasons, but took the 9 hour trip to Tenn last week. Uncle has 800+ acers that is covered up in birds. #1 hit the ground only 2 hours after me being in the state. Mondays bad weather had me feeding fighting chickens and spending time with the uncle. #2 took a load of #7 Hevi at 0900 on Tuesday. I am here to tell you Tenn is covered up in gobblers. Missouri has nothing on them.

Did the number on those guys! Great pair of birds. That is saying a lot for Tennessee turkey hunting! Maybe that is why they have the NWTF convention there...:rolleyes:.

Missouri sure used to have plenty of birds. I can remember hunting near Arrow Rock on the Missouri River. Everywhere I looked there were birds. Up in the Northwest corner by Albany there were more turkey than deer, too.
