Fullfan
Have not been spending much time here due to personal reasons, but took the 9 hour trip to Tenn last week. Uncle has 800+ acers that is covered up in birds. #1 hit the ground only 2 hours after me being in the state. Mondays bad weather had me feeding fighting chickens and spending time with the uncle. #2 took a load of #7 Hevi at 0900 on Tuesday. I am here to tell you Tenn is covered up in gobblers. Missouri has nothing on them.

dsharp01
Look at the hooks on that bird on the right..... over 1" in guessing. Congrats on your 2 trophies. I hear TN has become the sleeper state for birds, just like OH is for whitetail.

ruttinbuc
Did the number on those guys! Great pair of birds. That is saying a lot for Tennessee turkey hunting! Maybe that is why they have the NWTF convention there.... Missouri sure used to have plenty of birds. I can remember hunting near Arrow Rock on the Missouri River. Everywhere I looked there were birds. Up in the Northwest corner by Albany there were more turkey than deer, too.
