stevebeilgard
few folks realize how the entire mexican culture loves mayonaise. in fact, it's the staple of almost all mexicans. fewer folks yet have heard of the mid 1700's disaster where the entire brittish fleet, carring mostly the years supply of mayonaise for the mexicans, got caught in a storm and the entire fleet was lost. the mexicans were devestated, and went an entire year without mayonaise. they were so troubled, in fact, that they created a national holiday we all recognise to this day:... Sinko De Mayo.

dlriggins
Steve I am not an expert on Mexican history but I am pretty sure that is not the way it happened, although that may explain why they started dancing when the invented salsa. Mayo wouldnt last more than a few hours in the mexican heat so without the gasto intestinal problems they felt good enouth to start salsa dancing.
