wtnhunt
LOL. Mine stay out year round Ken. Problem is I am down to one working camera at this point and have not had time to fix any others. Itching to get another unit back up and running and get it out though, got pics of velvet nubs on the pull before last.
Swamphunter
Problem we run into up here William is that with the amount of snow and the sub zero temps, its very hard to access the camera to change the batteries once we are snowed in. I pull mine at the end of the season.... Last year I never got them into the woods at all.. thats why Im excited this year!
Tominator
Put it out. I saw 5 deer in the field across the road from me, when I looked at them through binocs, one looked really big, so I hauled my telescope out and sure enough, one of them was a big bodied 8 pt buck still carrying half his rack. I'd guess the deer is either 3 or 4 years old, based on body and the size of his rack.
Jorden
Probably not for at least another month here. Not a big fan of looking at pictures of a bunch of antlerless deer and bucks with just nubs on their heads:D
JMAN
Keep mine out year round because the weather allows it. I'm up too an even dozen now and have to use a GPS to mark where they all are so I can remember. :pacman: I keep two cameras each on the 4 mineral licks during the spring/summer so I can keep track of as many deer as possible. We practice QDMA principles on our farm. The others I relocate to specific places such as a log crossing trying to catch something other than deer during the spring/summer.
