My son Blade has been a forum member for a few years now (since the non posting member genocide of 2006) with an occasional post from time to time.. he is now almost 11 (few weeks), and absolutely loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, Realtree camo, and tv programming. He loves to read the forums and has been posting a bit.. Although he is supervised while using the forums, I dont sit right over his shoulder as he is quite mature. I just noticed that a few of the posts I see were on threads that I had started quite some time ago that he found after search my old posts. I explained to him that we usually dont bring these back up again and he said he was sorry. Please bear with him a little bit as he is young man learning the forum etiquette, but has already made several friends over the years. He has been basically a lifelong friend of Buckee since he was about 5, and also has participated in a 3d archery tourney with Ranger and myself....its our youth staying interested in the outdoors that keeps hunting alive

Thanks guys...

Learning by doing

We should all welcome the younger set to participate. They are the future of our sport and passion.

We need to support and guide them anyway we can. I am sure you will monitor him closely.

There is a room for the younger folks. Never looked in there myself. Maybe we all should check in once in a while and offer some encouragement to these young'uns.

I agree, and you should be very proud Ken!

I agree, who cares if something is old. It's new to him, and for others like myself who have not been members that long it will be new to us as well.

Glad to see a youngster interested. Can't wait to have a young one of my own to take an interest in some of the things I like (my wife is pregnant with our first child).

Congrats on the new addition coming along!
