Chrud
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... I'm trying new things with the grip on my XTEC. I keep hitting my arm, but I get good results on paper. I'm trying to move my hand around so I get no slap and good paper results. You'll be happy with a Hoyt. Pinwheel5
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... The new Hoyts are out now. We are trying to pick tehm up at the shop and drop PSE and AR. It is no rumor about BowTech buying Diamond. BT sent us a letter at the shop saying that they have. THey will still have tthe Diamond name on them but will also say "By BowTech". You picked a good bow though. If we pick them up I will have a hard time choosing which to shoot. Chrud
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... I heard there is a new 2005 ProTec, with the Triax Pocket Stabilization System. Sounds like a great new "revamped" bow. I know if I went with a target/3D bow, now I'd have a heck of a time deciding between an UltraTec and ProTec. Thought I heard Hoyt dropped the RazorTec, SuperTec and DynaTec. I guess they have something similar to the XTEC called the VTEC, I believe. Can't wait to see them on their site! Chrud
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... Is it just me, or do the new bows look a little goony? It almost seems, to me anyway, that their design took a steep drop from the last couple years.
huntinsonovagun
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... I agree.....the turbotec is one cheesy looking bow. Those flames are freaking dripping with homosexuality!!! Protec looks good, but I am afraid that Hoyt is just going only for looks now??? Looks like something that Orange County Choppers designed for them. I sure wish Mathews had the apparel selection Hoyt does....that is some sweet looking gear!!!! RyanH
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... They may look bad and try to make them look better!!! But i bet you that they shoot just as good and prob better then most! I love hoyt and love the way they shoot! They would make them like that if they were not gonna be top of the line!!! Chrud
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... I agree with you, huntin'! I don't like the new looks at all. And, as funny as it may seem, how the bow looks is important to me. I don't want a bow that has beer bottle openers (or flames) in the riser or with spikes coming out at me! By the way, I saw a link on Mathews' Forums for clothing at Eagle Archery. But, I don't know how "official" it is, since I thought Mathews clothing was sold by bow retailers only. Chrud
Re: what would you do....Tony et al.... I'm a big fan of the UltraTec. Hey JB, since you are ordering a new ProTec, how about ordering a UltraTec ('04 or '05) and have it shipped to me. IOU But if it's an '05, send a VTEC too.
