Dawg
Got this buck on cam last year, nearly messed my britches when I saw the pics. I hunted him last year but never seen him or got any day time pics of him. I'm hoping he made it through the season so I can have another go at him this year. He's a little weak on one side and has the drop tine. Do you think the weak side will strengthen or stay the same this year? How old do you think he is? Jeramie
Im not sure I would call that a "Weak side!" That is a great looking buck. Due to mass im guessing 3-4 year old. Back looks too straight to be 5-6. If he is that young he can pickup a lot more mass on both sides. He has decent tine length already so a few more inches of circumference bone and he will be incredible. I’m betting he made it through the season if you never saw him in the daylight. need2hunt
I'm with Jeramie on this one. All I will add is it just me or does it look like he might have had a second drop tine on his "weak" side and broke it off?

rhine16
I'm not sure on the age.. 3 or 4 would be my guess. As for a "weak side", I'm not seeing one. Should be a dandy!
Rhino
From what you told John & I at lunch last year that buck blows through the buck potential where you've been hunting. How old is he? Old enough!!! Looks like he broke off a 2nd drop tine to me too. Also...great brow tines! Sure hope he grows those drop tines again this year for ya & gives you just one good crack at him. Speaking of lunch, we all need to meet up again. I'm over in Pearl once a month now. And Mike........don't hold your breath bud!
wtnhunt
Nice deer there Corey. Looks like a solid squared up body to me, probably a 4.5 year old. Hope he made it through.
Tominator
Agree with William. I'm saying 4.
ruttinbuc
Solid buck, no doubt. I was thinking 3.5. He don't have the linebacker look of a 4 year old.
Crew999
Doesn't look like a fully mature buck, but he is a great buck already and will likely only get bigger. Keep your ear to the ground and track that deer down this summer/fall! He is awesome, good luck.

Dawg
very nice deer, wonder if something is wrong with his right eye I think it's just the cam. I had some other pics of him at another stand location and the eye wasn't like that.

Dawg
Reading over some of my past posts and came across this. Sad to say I never saw this buck in person and never got any more pics of him. I'm sure he's dead and gone by now beings this is a 6 year old thread but man, ONLY IF I could have got a crack at him!!!!!! Maybe, just maybe, he passed on his genes back in 2011....
