redkneck
Since you always manage to make the ordinary look extraordinary, I took some pics of my bugs for you. Let me just say I neither possess a good DSLR nor skills to use one! And one of my 11 y/o twins took this one the other night. I thought she did ok for just a kid wandering around the yard with a camera.
woolybear
Oh man, pass the hot sauce please,I'm sure a few of them landed on the grill too, lol! I know it sounds rediculous, but stupid little things like that could keep me occupied for hours in front of my lens. You and your girl did good on the pics John. Keep it up and you may find yourself going ga-gah in the camera department next trip into town. These guys are realy cool to me! I really am half tempted to have you send me a few! buckee
Great cicada shots John. I used to climb trees to capture those (tree locust ) when I was a kid. I loved these ones the best, so I cropped them and enhanced them a bit for ya. I think they're beautiful pictures. woolybear
Now that buckee did all the hard work, I ran it through my noise ninja and did a little sharpening and smoothing here and there for ya too John. I think this one's just about ready to be framed and hung in the family room, lol;) Edited May 9, 2011 by woolybear
