dsharp01
Rains are ruining my hunts. I only have the 1st week to hunt and now being into the 3rd day I'm getting disapointed. The birds are out there gobbling but I can only take the wet for so long. Also when my calls get soaked i cant lure them in anyhow.
dbHunterNY
the wetness i can see. it's definitely a pain. try and bring a camo ponch. they're pretty cheap. also have you tried using a diaphram mouth call? the effects of weather don't apply to them. many say they can't use one, but they don't fit it to their mouth. that flexible tape around the outside is supposed to be cut to fit your mouth better if needed. first rinse it really well, and then trim very little at a time. cut the sides first so it won't contact your teeth and then trim the back until you can feel comfortable in your mouth, not going too far back. the team primos will primos call is very easy to use with little air. on the back of the packaging it'll have directions for how to make certain sounds. aside from locally made stuff it's a favorite of mine.
