jbeck
Just read this on Yahoo. don't know if it is new or not. Rocky Mountain Wolf Removed From Endangered List by Congress - NYTimes.com
gzilla45
Either I read the article wrong or they only delisted them in 2 states. If that is in fact true, what about the rest of us?
stevebeilgard
i think it's only 2 states so far. first, they'll have to kill 90% of the deer in wisconsin. then, when everyone quits hunting and the game & fish folks are hurting for money, they'll delist the wolf in your area, too. prett sad, but too true. Our Wolf numbers are WAY WAY above the set sustainable goal numbers. How can the liberals cry about Congress stepping in over ruling "sound science"? All the state fish and game biologists, including Wisconsin, want to be able to manage them based on biology and science and THEY won't let them. It is time that the wacko environmentalists sit down, shut up and take a hint. GET OUT OF THE WAY! You are killing this country.
elkoholic
Unfortunately, the lawsuit has already been filed in an effort to keep the wolves on the endangered species list. Conservation groups file suit over wolf delisting rider | KAJ18.com | Kalispell, Montana It appears that it is okay to use the courts to snuff out good science if you happen to favor the judgment issued, for if in fact they base the control of wolf populations on science than control of the wolf population is necessary and should not be decided in the courts. This shall be a never ending saga. May everyone enjoy the sounds of wolves howling in their back yards for if another lawsuit bears fruit we will be spending more tax payer's dollars to establish wolves in every state.
