Bowhunter Magazine Top Bows

Anyone who doesnt get the Bowhunter Magazine would probably find their rankings of the new 2011 bows pretty interesting;

1. Alpine F1 Fireball

2. APA Viper V7

3. Athens Afflixtion

4. Bear Carnage

5. BowTech Invasion CPX

6. Darton DS-3800

7. Diamond Deadeye

8. Elite Hunter

9. Hoyt Carbon Element

10. Limbsaver Proton

It doesn't say for sure anywhere in the article what they use for their rankings, but it appears they go by performance first and price second. They list a top 20 but i didnt feel like typing them all. I thought it was worth noting how far down Hoyt was on their list and the Mathews Z7 Extreme came in at no.12.

These can be taken with a grain of salt because it's all subjective, but I can say that I've been saying that the z7 is worthless, but the mathews cult wants to argue otherwise. Just incase you doubt me, shoot the darn bow blindfolded at a shop with other bows and i promise you don't pick that one as the top bow!

Eh, to each his own I guess. I shot it and bought one last October. I went in with the intentions of buying an Elite z28, after shooting both I walked out with a z7 (regular z7, not extreme). The Elite was really nice, but for me the z7 felt a tad bit better.
