Ethan Givan
Cant remember what year exactly, but it was 2004 or 2005 here in KY. Shot one that weighed 25 lbs, 1.5 inch spurs, and a 10.5 inch beard that was close to 2 inches thick. I have yet to kill one that beat all 3 measurements together. Most of the birds we kill average around 21-22 lbs.
shickoff
Nice birds! Some super gobblers there, for sure. Impressive beards and spurs in addition to the weight totals. Yeah, Ethan, I'm a big fan of Kentucky. Have hunted there off and on since the late 90s. Beautiful state and monster longbeards, as intense as any you'll find anywhere. That sounds like one old turkey, WHISKEYSWAMP. Nice. Anybody else?
redbeard
My heaviest was 23.04 lbs. Pretty fat for a Georgia bird.
Rhino
Really can't say on weight. About the only time I've ever weighed gobblers was for RT's turkey contest in the past. There were a few exceptions on weighing birds that were a heavy load toting out but I don't recall their actual weights. I don't recall any of those gobblers I've killed going over the 23# mark yet. The state record here in MS is just over 25#. Haven't broken through the 1 3/8" spur mark yet. Killed at least ~6 or 7 with 1 3/8" spurs though...2 in one season..one here in MS and another in south Texas while hunting the King Ranch. Longest total length on beards was a double bearded Eastern I killed about 9 or 10 years ago here in MS. The main beard was 11 3/4" with his 2nd beard being 9". shickoff
Hey Rhino. Good birds there. Just checked a gobbler in on the Maine opener last week (May 2). They used to weigh, measure the spurs and beard(s). Now they only check it in and tag it with a "big game" seal . . .

Ohiobucks
My biggest was from last spring, a 22.5 pounder with an 11" beard and 1" spurs.
jbeck
The bird I took this year was the heviest, 24 lbs. he had 1" spurs and a 9 1/4" beard. the best bird as far as spurs and beard was a 15lb 11 1/2" beard and 1 1/2' Spurs. he had a busted wing on his left side, he could still fly up to roost OK but I am guessing that is why he only weighed 15 lbs.
