Ohiobucks
How in the heck does this guy get and keep a radio show on ESPN radio? Remember what the old gym teacher from Seinfeld called George Costanza? "Cantstandya! Cantstandya!" There may be hope for you yet muggsy - if he can get a gig with ESPN, I'm sure you can..... muggs
He's horrible. What I can't stand about him is the stupid analogies he makes. A few days ago I heard him compare Andrew Bynum's apology over elbowing JJ Berea to how you go about cheating on your wife...really dude? Doooooooood I would never want to work for ESPN. Just give me scores and stats...that's what I want out of a 'sports' network. I don't need stupid 48 hour countdowns to a regular season BoSox v. Spankees game. I don't need to see the gap-toothed Rachel Nichols giving me a live update from whatever high school field Brett FAV-RAH is breaking some 16 year olds fingers with tight spirals as he prepares for his 'comeback.' I don't need to see Mel Kiper needlessly annunciating names like 'D'Brickashaw' for 6 months leading up to the draft. I don't need to see them give a platform to some over indulged loser like LeBron James so he can announce he's 'taking his talents to South Beach.' The only thing ESPN has going for it right now is Erin Andrews...and I'm still majorly bummed the courts confiscated my VHS tapes...it wasn't easy getting those shots through the peepholes. You know how long that took me! Sheeesh...the nerve of some people just because they're a 'judge.' Come on.... Ohiobucks
"Spanning the Globe" segment is a joke. Should be "Spanning the Exact Same Crap we Pounded into the Ground Already"
muggs
"Spanning the Globe" segment is a joke. Should be "Spanning the Exact Same Crap we Pounded into the Ground Already" Yeah...terrible. That E60 show is a joke too. I do like their '30 for 30' movies. Some of those have been outstanding. I just DVR those, and have Mike and Mike on in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. Other than that, unless it's a game I don't watch the network.
buckbuster11
Yeah muggsbow like you wouldn't work for ESPN if they came calling. Forget Mike and Mike in the morning. Muggsbow and Buckbuster live would be must listen to radio:argue: I actually think Cowherd is pretty entertaining. Although there are much better options out there. He must be doing his job though because he's got yall all fired up which is what he is trying to do. Spanning the globe is pretty bad though I'll give you that. Now if you want to talk about ESPN as a network don't even get me started. I could see them tanking in the next 10 to 15 years. Its a disaster. Nobody cares about girls softball and red sox yankee games for the 10, 875th time.
toddyboman
I listen to sports radio all day everyday at work.... The herd, dan patrick, mike and mike, jim rome.....its all entertaining...IMO yes their analogies are often crazy and way out there.....but again entertaining. Tominator
Heather listens to him I guess. Which I find weird. I don't listen to that. Pretty much a 610 guy, or nothing at all.
drkillemquick
I like jim Rome's show, don't listen to any of the others!
JimT
I like jim Rome's show, don't listen to any of the others! Same here...
hoosierhunter
Rome thinks he's king and that drives me crazy. At first I couldn't stand Colin but after listening to him it's refreshing to hear the truth instead of sugarcoating everything. He says what others are affraid to say. VABuckSlayer
I think Colin is a JA but I do listen to him. I used to like Rome but not as much anymore. I can't stand Dan Patrick. Listening to him talk makes me want to vomit!
