Strut10
If you could wave a magic wand and have your own hand-picked presidential / vice-presidential slate be "THE ONE" on the ballot for the 2012 election........................ what would it be ??? PotashRLS
Hypothetically speaking: Trump/Nugent..............purely for the shock and awe effect. Terrorists beware! Realistically: Chris Christie/Paul Ryan/Michele Bachmann in no particular order. I do like Sarah Palin but like it or not, she has been branded as too simple for the White House. However, the Ivy League crowd is hypocritical to think they are not responsible for our problems. I think we need to get away from both of the "standard quo, big machine Republicans and Democrats" in order to right this very wrong ship. The people not wanting to fix our nation are those that are part of the vicious cycle of handouts, by-outs, and votes required to keep the handout and by-outs. JJL
Virgil Goode............Alan Keyes. Sorry GOP, I'm a registered Constitutionalist these days. You've wet the bed one too many times for me. You haven't run a Conservative candidate since 1984. BYE BYE. I'm not alone. The third party will guarantee 4 more years for O'Bama...............and the GOP caused it. Is it worth it to try to prove a point knowing full well what Obama can/will do with 4 more years??
wtnhunt
Trump said he was out. Sorry no Nuge and Trump or Trump and Nuge ticket this time round. Is it worth it to try to prove a point knowing full well what Obama can/will do with 4 more years?? Some people don't seem to get that. Not too many alternatives I can think of that are worse than what we have right now. Just my opinion for what it is worth here, but think sometimes you got to suck it up and vote the lesser of evils. Votes for 3rd party candidates or write ins essentially are votes cast in favor of the the one you really do not want in. Dream team eh Don, magic wand? lol. Since we are dreaming I could dream we had Ronald Reagan back. That is what we need right now. There are a few candidates I think possibly capable of righting the wrongs, things are wide open right now though, got a bit more research to do yet before I decide who would be my realistic "dream team" picks. JJL
Is it worth it to try to prove a point knowing full well what Obama can/will do with 4 more years?? YES................................................ O'Bama.................McCain......................... Same ****......................different party. The GOP has sold their souls. It ain't gonna be good. Prove a point ??????????? NO................ Just voting my conscience.....................and beliefs. You seem to be willing to eat the Big **** sandwich John McCain that the Republicans tried to force own your throat two years ago...........................chew and swallow. NO spitting. It's gonna happen again, and it isn't going to be pretty. The GOP has NO HORSES. I'm over it. I'll vote for the candidate who I agree with the most...........................and he ain't gonna be a Republican. And William, I'll vote for the lesser of two evils when there are only TWO candidates. In America we have many to choose from, the main stream media would have you believe otherwise, Edited May 18, 2011 by JJL
m gardner
Ron Paul/Rick Perry +1 I'd like them just fine. The only really bad thing is that our whole economic/monetary system needs revamping because it's about to fail. Nixon started that ball rolling. I think anyone who enters into politics in the near future is suicidal or delusional because there won't be any glory in it. We need God back in government. It's too big a mess for us to continue to try to fix it alone.

Strut10
Sounds like Sharia law to me. No. It sounds like the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was founded................ no matter how anyone tries to twist it.................. that's how it is. Or was. I'd like to see Santorum/Gingrich. Yep. Both former members of the dumb*** Republican machine. But both (especially Santorum) Reagan conservatives. And I'd like to see Gingrich debate ANYONE the Dems choose to pit against him. It'd be a bloodbath.
m gardner
Sounds like Sharia law to me. The nation of Islam was born of the slave woman Hagar. Christianity from the freewoman Sarah. The Bug House
No. It sounds like the Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation was founded................ no matter how anyone tries to twist it.................. that's how it is. Or was. More like: Our country was founded on the principle of personal liberty, common sense, and reasoning. Fundamentals that, by virtue of humanistic parallelism, christianity likes to lay claim to. Anyones version of god belongs in the home and local community, not the federal government. Having god in government is the POLAR OPPOSITE of the "Founding fathers" vision for our great nation.

m gardner
Islam....Christanity.........Six to one, half dozen the other. I have a friend that lived under Sharia Law before immigrating to the US. He's not a christian but he's real happy that we have christian values. He says that he hasn't seen anyone have a hand cut off for stealing here or any women stoned to death and that makes him happy. Our country was formed by men who knew that the government shouldn't run the church. Never did they say that the church shouldn't affect the government. Ravin R10 man
No candidate is going to be perfect..they are human..so a "Dream Team" could only be; God our father Jesus Christ However.. Judge Roy Moore & Tim Palenty would be fine with me
