abear491
I am thinking about getting a new muzzleloader this upcoming year. I have had one for a few years and I am not real crazy about it. The major thing I don't like is the breach plug ceezes (SP) up and I have to work like crazy to get it out. So I was wondering on all your opinions on what I should get......... wtnhunt
Use superlube on the plug threads and you should not have any problems. The wife and I have been hunting with a tc black diamond here for years and it has effectively done the job time and time again. Considering adding a tc omega so the wife and I both can hunt our ml'er season at the same time.
Tominator
Agree with William on the super lube. I've never had a problem either. As for guns, I'm completely happy with my Encore.

swohiodave
I use gorilla grease, it is purple and thick. This stuff comes in a little container but last a good while. Never have a problem removing the breach plug on my optima with that stuff.
pruts
I got a CVA Wolf last year, the breach plug is tool less and they guarantee it if you use there grease. I target shot it a lot and never had a problem.

hoosierhunter
All the new ML's are close with today's technology. It's the same as bows. Personal preference is what will make the difference and not as much to quality of the product.
