ruttinbuc
Tim, it was great seeing you again. I am glad we were able to connect on this trip. I truly enjoyed the conversation. To hear your stories of your fishing past was truly enlightening. I just wish the boat I observed on would have realized the best fishing was right out the front door of the Oak Orchard river.,. Those guys went the 41 miles to beyond Wilson again and didn't do any better than the day before. The only difference was the beating I took from the 4 foot waves on the ride back. I am totally sore today. I just got home and will post up some pictures of the trip. It was quite the adventure with 9 of 11 days spent on the water. I lost count of the number of fish I landed on the practice/searching days. I landed a 28# King Salmon, but forgot my camera that day and didn't get a picture. I didn't get any pictures of me with a fish actually. Oh well, I'll always have the memories.

ruttinbuc
Here is a video of my adventure on Lake Ontario. These tournaments bring out some of the best Salmon fisherman on the Great Lakes. If you ever get the chance to experience this type of fishing go for it. Exciting is an understatement. [video=youtube;GtMe_dd3iHk]

ruttinbuc
quite the backyard indeed, Tim. Of all the ports, Oak Orchard has to be the most picturesque and peaceful. A very relaxing place. Here is a slideshow I put together. [video=youtube;Zj-ZOKo4QKU]
