aujack
I shoot a Hoyt as my primary bow that I use for hunting, but yesterday my dad brought home an old bow that someone at work gave him that I wouldn't mind setting up and shooting as a secondary bow/something to just mess around with. It is a Renegade Tominator, which may not be the best bow, but it is in good condition and I think it would be fun to play around with. Here is the issue, the bow is basically bare other than having a stabilizer, D-Loop, and peep sight. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money on this bow because that's what my Hoyt is for , so I need some opinions on what decent quality, but pretty cheap accessories to buy, like a cheap yet decent rest, sight, and quiver. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
dbHunterNY
i'd say any cheaper metal pin sight with 2" housing/glo ring (if you're peep is 1/4" aperture dia to center the ring inside it and let in more light), whisker biscuit (quick shot version where the arrow shaft can be slid into an opening in the outer ring), and kwiki quiver should work fine. if you shoot a mechanical head then i like a quiver with two holding points other than the foam in the hood. also you're not shooting very far with an older slower bow so i'd go with .029" pins in a cheaper sight. Tru-Glo along with others should have something that fits those needs. ...i've mentioned some features that won't break the bank and that i wouldn't do without. your choice though. i'm just throwing my opinion out there.
