i have a supermag by horton, i went to the archrey shop and paid 98.00 bucks to have it set up and new bolts, i got 1/2 dozen of the lightning strike mx. it has a barska 3 dot scope on it. before i left the shop i was hitting the center of a target at 20 yards, feeling like ok i got this now, went and put out my deer target, now heres where i cant quite get a grip. my first dot at 20 yards just like at the shop, i can hit where im aiming. but my 2nd pin as i walk back to find where its hitting the target it goes astary. i can hit the deer but i have to hold high about 6 inches and the bolt goes about 6 inches high and ruffly 8 inches back. in order to hit the kill zone im haveing to compensate the the 6 high and 8 back and i can group them together in the kill zone by doing this but would like some one to help me to adjust the scope or tell me what i can do to get it to when a can hit the target with out compensating the dots. i am shooting the broadheads that i started with and did have it set up with, have never shot a field tip threw it yet.

shoot a field tip through it. if the arrows impact where you think they should then it's possibly you need to tune your broadheads/arrows. make sure your arrow inserts are square and heads spin without a wobble. if your field points shoot with the broadheads then maybe your scope isn't level, but i'm not sure it'd throw the arrow as much as you said. that's all that i can think of.

on a three dot scope you should always zero in your second dot at 30 yards. that will put your first dot at 20 and your last dot at 40. i bet anything this solves your problem. if the scope was professionally installed i seriously doubt they messed it up. if your still having problems after that pm me and ill send you a video of how to sight it.
