OJR Posted July 7, 2011 Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 Twin Falls, ID. My wife and I are here for the American Legion Department convention. It starts today and ends on Sunday. There is absolutely nothing in this country that is nice. Hot, high desert and lots of dairy cattle. Needless to say, it stinks! We sure went through some beautiful country on the way. The rivers and streams are really roaring because of all the snow in the mountains. Lots of white water rafters out! They are crazy! We will elect a new Department Commander on Saturday! Kayak or raft yes, if you like to live dangerously! Some of the rapids we saw had to be 10 to 20 feet high! It is rough on the rivers right now!
