danthehuntinman
I was just wondering what everyone else thought this deer's age is? I was thinking he is 2.5 I had pics of him last year and he was a real small 8 point. I'm glad to see him this year cause I let him go with my bow last year. dbHunterNY
he could be 3.5 yrs old, but it just doesn't seem like he's got enough in the front shoulders. hard to say, but I definitely believe he's 3.5 or 2.5 yrs old. i'm leaning toward 2.5 years old despite that making him an 8 at 1.5 yrs old. wtnhunt
This early on in the year, think he could be a 3 year old. Deer are slimmed down a bit right now. Body looks pretty straight, usually 2-2.5 year olds belly cuts upward before the back quarters. Notice the deer in your pic is almost as thick going all the way back from the chest to the gut. hoosierhunter
2.5 or maybe even 1.5. His front legs are so much longer than his chest. For that reason I just can't see him being anywhere over 2.5 if he's even that.
