Tominator
Yep, I'm done "playing". Sometimes dealing with Chris... Sometimes. The other times are some of the best times Tom has ever known...
Leo
It might not be me. Even though our season opens Aug 15th. Sometimes it's just too brutally hot to hunt opening day. If it's in the low 90's I'm a threat. But when the temps are over 100 and the heat index is 115+ that's simply too much for me to take. Crazy isn't it? I hope it's around 90 opening day so it'll be cool enough to hunt :surrender:

Pretty crazy to hunt heat indexes like that Leo, that kind of heat probably does not leave much room for error in the way of recovering animals, would have to find them and take care of the meat right away. Canuck 2 might be the first to score, seems he consistently takes good deer early year after year.

You have 1 1/2 months to watch the weather before I can climb into a treestand or ground blind with my bow. The only chance I have to kill one before you is if I run over it with the tractor while either cutting plots or planting them. After the season opens it's not likely I'll shoot a doe in the afternoon for at least the 1st week. Too hot to track & drag. Yep...I turned into an old fart!:stretcher:
aujack
Our season in GA opens September 10th. It probably won't be me because of other states opening earlier, and whether you are in a tree or not, the first 2 weeks of the season in south GA are bunk anyways, way to hot to see deer movement. But because I am such a genius, I'll be in a tree the first two weeks watching bugs swarm!
