GobblerBuster618
Hello everyone! First let me thank anyone for any advice on this post. Now here goes. I am not sure the best way to sell a rifle. I currently own an assault rifle fully registered to me. I bought the gun from in jan but I just dont have the time to shoot it. I took it to a pro shop and they offered me not even half of what I paid for it. I roughly have 1500 dollars in the gun and know the best way to sell it is to an individual. Has anyone had any luck selling a rifle and if so what did you do. I know very little about gun broker. Any help would be great. If it helps its a 223 lewis machine and tool. Strut10
GunBroker is pretty much like eBay. Sign up an account and post your gun for sale. It's not hard at all and I've had no problems with any transaction. You could also try posting the gun in the "classifieds" rooms of different websites like Realtree, Accurate Reloading, 24 Hr. Campfire and Sniper's Hide, etc. A quality piece at a reasonable price should go quickly.
Jeramie
Ive sold several guns locally through websites. Armslist is another good site. No selling fees, face to face deals, etc. Just make sure if you do something like that you get a bill of sale signed and keep it in your records.
