ckrich
It's time for me to finally upgrade to a better safety harness, and I'm curious as to what you all are using. I've been looking around at different models, and there are just too many to choose from for it to be a quick and easy decision. So lets hear it! wtnhunt
Been using the one that came with my summit climber. Serves it purpose.
Rhino
Hunter's Safety System. Mine is now 6 or 7 years old so I may upgrade to a newer model. The only negative I have to say about my old one is on cold days the hand pockets aren't enough. I have a fleece vest I wear over it during those cold days. Dawg
Been using the one that came with my summit climber. Serves it purpose. Same here. I'd like to invest in a HSS harness one of these days.
Ohiobucks
Hunter Safety System pro series here, I really like it. Don't know if it works or not (I hope I don't find out....)
dbHunterNY
Hunter Safety Systems Pro Harness is what I wear now. I've got a Muddy Safeguard harness that's sweet, but it's an adult Sm./Med. which doesn't fit me. I won it at a 3D shoot.

Tominator
I have a few. The one I wear most often is just an older style lineman's harness. It's tough to put on in the mornings sometimes, but I like it because it's not bulky like my HSS. I always carry 2 spares, in case Ohiobucks forgets his, lol. Born4it
HSS Tree Stalker I think it's called...always treated me right! God bless, Ryan
SE_KSBowhunter
HSS Pro Series for me. The just came out with the Ultra Lite X-treme that only weighs 2 lbs and looks awesome, especially for the warm early season days. Clint
HUNTINGMAN
The one that came with my lone wolf stand,I am thinking f a better one but don't want to turn lose of the money.
swohiodave
HSS Tree Stalker, and Rhino, you may want to check for an exp. date. My seat-o-the pants harness actually "expired" on me 2 years ago.
RangerClay
I really like my HSS Pro Series. Very comfortable and worth the investment.
dbHunterNY
I believe HSS say to replace it after a fall or 5 years, whichever is first.
swohiodave
Spend the money for a quality harness, your life is worth the investment. Stupid me tried to adjust the cable on my summit viper a few seasons back about 10 feet off of the ground and the bottom fell out from under me. Luckily it was tied on and i was able to get it back up and locked in while sitting on the upper section. The only thing that kept me grounded was knowing that if I fell I was strapped in. I learned my lesson and will climb all of the way back down if I ever have that problem again!
ckrich
Thanks everyone, for all of the feedback. I've got it narrowed down to a HSS vest, the HSS Ultra-lite, and the Tree Spider harness. I'm going to have to try them all on, fit and finish will be the determining factor. Thanks again
Squirrelhunter91
I have had a HSS pro series for about 4 seasons now and its very comfortable. No complaints besides the mesh gets caught easily on brush. I've been thinkin about tryin out that spyder system that the Drurys have been promoting lately. Bowtech_archer07
I'm using the HSS Pro. I love it. It's really comfortable and it's three quick easy buckles to get into it and once I have it on, I don't even know that I'm wearing it. aujack
Hunter Safety Systems Pro Harness is what I wear now. I've got a Muddy Safeguard harness that's sweet, but it's an adult Sm./Med. which doesn't fit me. I won it at a 3D shoot. If you have no use for that sm/med, I'd love to take it off of your hands! I've been looking for a harness for a while because I need one this year for bow season.
Rhino
HSS Tree Stalker, and Rhino, you may want to check for an exp. date. My seat-o-the pants harness actually "expired" on me 2 years ago. Thanks for the heads up...I'll have to look for an expiration date on it when I get back to our camp. It's hanging in my closet there. I got an email Tuesday that said we would be hunting out of treestands some during my Africa hunt. We had been told we'd just be hunting ground blinds. I bought the new Ultra Lite HSS since it's half the weight of my Pro Series. Weight is a big concern when you're flying anywhere anymore. Heading east on July 30th. Sounds like something special is working some areas where they don't have ground blinds.

ckrich
Update I decided to go with the HSS Ultra Lite Xtreme. Picked one up today, and man am I impressed. Very lightweight(my top complaint about the vest) and non-restricting. Just about ready to hit the woods now!
Tom2008
Won a HSS Pro Series vest last year and love it. Very comfortable and very easy to use and take on and off.
