Strut10
Did some whole chicken thighs old skool, for supper tonight. No gas. No charcoal. Just some cast iron grating over a bed of flaming maple. In the foiled pan were some sliced and buttered taters swiming in garden fresh onions. Finer snappin' would be pretty hard to come by. Dawg
Looks good! I love me some chicken! Buddy of mine introduced me to a sauce he uses. It's called Mildly Wild, it's really good on chicken. It's not too thick and not too runny of a sauce.
dbHunterNY
looks good... i'm all about the original state fair spiedie sauce and chicken bbq sauce. not sure if you're too deep down in PA or if you've heard of it. works on venison too. Strut10
I'm a Kraft Hickory Smoke guy, myself. Pretty hard to beat (since they discontinued Mesquite Smoke).
gzilla45
That looks amazing. I haven't had grilled chicken yet this summer. Might have to change that this week though. If you can get your hands on some Rufus Teague sauce, do it. I think it is the best sauce I've ever had and I'm somewhat of a bbq sauce connoisseur. wtnhunt
Looks good Don. Plenty of maple around here, never tried it for chicken, YET. One of these days gonna build a brick fire pit here, giving me some ideas.
