92xj
At what point do you call someone out on being too full of themselves? When it happens day end and day out, do you just let it go and never say anything, or do you say something?
lil hunter
I get called out for that on almost a daily basis. Don't know whats taking you so long to tell this person. They probably already know.

Jeramie
I typically am very easy going and laid back but I cant tolerate a person full of themselves! It goes through me like lightning for some reason.... People with that attitude around me never have to question my respect for their actions.... Ethan Givan
I usually tell people what I think. I can tolerate arrogant people pretty well, but I couldnt handle it day in, day out thats for sure. I would have to make some kind of smart remark to them about it. redkneck
Depends on who he is. When it's your boss and you need your job, it would be best to bite your tongue.
92xj
What about people on forums, such as RT?
Ohiobucks
Up until about 5-10 years ago, I would call out anyone at anytime - forums or face to face. The way I look at things now is if you don't know someone personally, you have no right to "call them out". If you feel the need to call someone out over the internet that you've never met, then you need to get away from the keyboard a little more often....I've learned to get away from the keyboard. I've also learned to distance myself from people that have no regard for their "friends" or others around them.... Dawg
I don't call them out. Only interact with these people when I absolutely have to. Pride comes before destruction.
ruttinbuc
I have always told it like it is and probably always will. If I lose "friends" it is on them for being so thin skinned. The question however, is about calling people out who are full of themselves. Calling someone out because THEY are full of themselves probably wouldn't make much of a difference. Not worth the trouble, but if you have to get it off your chest go for it.
Rhino
What about people on forums, such as RT? Well size & speed are a non-issue...JK. You truly don't know those people unless you're met them face to face. With that said though there's a few here I've never met face to face that I feel like I know. Other than those few though Tom sums it up well here. swohiodave
I will not hang out with people that are full of it or themselves. I will call it like it see it but I had one guy you would have to call out every day at work and finally I just started ignoring him all together. 92xj
Pot calling the kettle black I know the expression, but since he didnt put a name with the phrase I will hold all assumptions that he was directing it at me. I'm asking him to clarify whom he is trying to call out before responding. Edited July 21, 2011 by 92xj

Over the internet, who cares. Face to face with someone I don't know? Who cares. Face to face with someone I know...I like to kill them with kindness, bolster their arrogance. I'll typically say something like "that's awesome....you're awesome..."
buckee
Just distance yourself from them, unless it gets personal, and if it does, go through PMS. I've been told I'm full of myself by people on here who are full of themselves ...LOL so where can you take it from there?...nowhere. There's a lot of me,me,me out there
RTF
Like Buckee said, take it to PM or better yet look the other way. No need to get all riled up over someone you don't really know or have met face to face. The internet has a way of rotting ones mind. 92xj
I'm not a fan of posting mindless chatter all the time. Don't worry about it I will just go back to not reading them from now on. You apparently have some sort of problem with me and my post, yet continue to read them and post mindless chatter in them. Use the ignore button and dont read anything else I post. This is the first thread I have started in a while and looking at the main page I dont have a single other one from the 16th on. So, your "all the time" seems to be a little off. This thread was a simple opinion questions and the assumptions run wild on RT and people think I was trying to call someone out. I have no problems with anyone here and feel that I speak my opinion pretty openly, so if I did have a problem with someone I would have mentioned it. But, I actually dont and what I typed in this thread did not show that I did. So, again, go into your user options and place me on your ignore list.
