RTF
It's almost August and before you know it, hunting season will be here. So whats on the list to go out and get this coming month. More tree stands? A new Double Bull Blind? Decoys? Realtree Clothing? What?
wtnhunt
Don't really need to buy anything.
MUDRUNNER
I need to get one more climbing stick, some Slick Trick broadheads, and going to try out a set of Muck boots this year.
Dawg
Bow season doesn't open til October for me so I have just a bit longer to plan. I'm going to buy one more hang on stand for sure and am tossing the idea around of building a 4x8x8 box stand for gun season, which opens in November. Other than that I'm pretty much set. Rhino
Not much now RTF...stocked up on a few items recently. Replaced all my old Lacrosse hunting boots. I punched a hole in my 1200's this past January & very my old 800's were showing signs of failure anytime. Bought new uninsulated boots too mainly because I wanted the air grip soles. It's a stuggle slipping & slidding when it's wet during bowseason here with my old granger sole uninsulated boots. Bought a new HSS...the Ultra Lite version. I always stock up on unscented laundary detergent and liquid soap every year. I also bought a new HD camcorder because I wanted it before I head to Africa next Saturday. About the only thing left on my list that I may buy before deer season opens is another Reconyx trail camera. I have 2 Reconyx cams and 3 old Cuddebacks...2 of the Cuddes are on borrowed time and started eatting up batteries last year at the rate of a 4 pack/week to 10 days. That's bad enough but I have to wonder what passed by after the batteries died. At that rate of consumption, I could pay off a new Reconyx in ~1.5 years or less. A set of batteries in the Reconyx Hyperfire cams last a year.
ckrich
My list always seems too long. The big items are a new hang on stand and another ground blind. Also need a new quiver, been contemplating a release purchase, and then all of the odds and ends that I seem to buy every year.
Jeramie
Typical stuff to start out with like 3" steel... I reload for rifle, I need to get into scatter gun reloading too. It would probably be nice during duck season. Dog vest, probalby a layout blind, new Muzzy for archery (in October), and thats probably about it.... Tominator
Only thing I can think of right now is to go have my guy check my bowstring out. It's still the original, and the peep has turned a full 90 degrees from where it should be. Probably should get a new string, we'll see. Might have to get a pack of Rages too.
