hungry hunter
I don't want to start another hard comparrison between broadheads, I love using my Muzzy's but am thinking about the G5 T3, does anyone have experience with this particular broadhead? the only thing I have found is they shoot a little low1 to 2 inchs at 40 yards. Thanx in advance Fred.
redkneck
Haven't tried them yet Fred, I'm still primarily shooting muzzy's but played around with rage year before last and wasn't overly impressed on them. Had one good quartering away shot I drilled on an 8pt and I think only one blade deployed by the look of the exit wound. They deer only ran about 40 yards, but wasn't the carnage I expected. No doubt what they do on a good broadsided shot, we've all seen the pics, but I'm still experimenting. I like the look of the tekans, but also heard stories of not deploying, but they all have that from time to time.
The_Kat
I think they'll make a great BH. The commercial with T-bone and the jugs of water with the rage hole and the t3 hole showing the liquid flowing out makes em look pretty sweet! RangerClay
thanks yall, I could not find any thing on blade failure Do a search for a thread here in the Bow Room started by OhioBucks. I believe the title was "T-Bone & Waddell double up". Sure looked like broadhead failure to me.
Perry
I shot them last year. I killed a lot of deer with the tekan and when the t3 came out I decided to try it. I was very impressed with accuracy wound size and the blood trail. The 2 does I shot didnt make it 40 yards.
