[email protected]
I've seen the Del-Ton AR and am wondering if someone that has one would tell me what they think of it. Thanks
Strut10
Have handled and inspected them. I have not shot one. But the fellows that have don't seem to have much bad to say about 'em. They are very economically priced and seem to be a lot of bang for the buck.

Strut10
How dose it go? 5.56 is stronger than 223? and .308 stronger than 7.62? I cant recall. Both the 5.56x54 and 7.62x51 military headstamped rounds operate (due to the generally thicker brass) at higher SAAMI pressures than do the .223 Rem and .308 Win. External cartridge dimensions are identical. It is safe to use the commercial .223 and .308 ammo in military marked chambers but not advisable to use military headstamp ammo in rifles chambered for .223 Rem and .308 Win. wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Don't know anything about the Del Ton AR's. Rock river and I believe jp enterprise offer a .223 wylde chambering, supposed to be able to use both nato or standard .223 ammo with the .223 wylde chambering.
