Chad Johnson at Brookview Taxidermy in NW Illinois did a GREAT job with my buck. Some of you are sick of seeing this buck....but Chad's work needs to be seen.Amazing! That is my buddy holding the buck. He is too humble to be seen with the buck usually. He was an amazing part of the story.

Some people on other forums have made comments that they have seen the deer too many times (all pre mount pics). I will never tire of showing how God blessed me.

Was your first post here, so some of us had probably never seen any pics of the deer before.

Notice you have been a member for about a year and no posts, don't reckon since this was your first post you had an official welcome. Welcome to the forums and congratulations again on a great deer.

Looks like an awesome buck to me!

Whats the story to go with him!!

Congrats and welcome to the forum ;)

I will refrain from posting the story online until after December. If you want the story, subscribe to Buckmaster's Rack Magazine. The story comes out next month in their October issue. And if you aren't a subscriber, the story will be in North American Whitetail's December issue which hits the newstands mid November.

you shot that off my property...poacher...lol :hammer1:just kidding. thats a heck of a buck. will make a nice wall mount for sure.

Ha! But I bet there is some story behind this deer that some guy was chasing or some farmer has been watching. I only saw him for about 20 seconds alive.....and would love to find out more about him.

Thats an awesome mount! Great buck, congrats! Welcome to the campfire as well...

Thanks. Just went and had a buddy take some QUALITY head shots with a setting sun, in a barn. Wow, wait until you see them! And leaving the buck hanging on barn post and walking away....he gets bigger. I swear. It is like it needs to be in a big room to really see how big it is.

Congratulations on your buck! Mount looks real good. I know what ya mean about public ground hunting. Cool that you got your story in the hunting magazines. I understand that you have to wait till December for the whole story, so just tell us the exact location you shot that bruiser and we'll call it good. LOL
