92xj
Scored a nice little private piece of hunting land this year and have been hanging stands and working the land a little bit. Dawg also asked about water sources so there is a pic of what I did to water the game. The deer hit these two tanks all day long. Here are the water tanks, as you can see, the dogs likes them as well. She is 70 lbs, for a size reference.... One of my ladder stands... Looking over the field from the base of the stand.... Looking over the field from in the stand... And this is the biggest and blackest deer I have ever seen, taken from one of my lock on stands to bow hunt... Not exactly normal for me since I have hunted South Carolina my whole life. This was a very cool change of scenery.

mikewink
You are gonna need a taller tree stand that doe has the longest legs I've ever seen on a deer. I bet you she has some mighty large back straps too!

Texan_Til_I_Die
Very nice. Can you get a moose tag? I think I'd snag one if it were available.
92xj
I wish. I applied this year but did not get drawn. The average is around 17 years of applying and then if you ever get drawn, thats the only one you're allowed your entire life here.
