92xj
Yes, Ive heard of it. Step one, clean it, step two spray it whatever color you want, Step three, let it dry. Its a pretty easy process.
Dawg
I would have the cables and strings taken off before I painted it.

clrj3514
I don't know about painting one but if you want a different camo you could get the My Dip Kit. It's like $100 though.
toddyboman
I would have the cables and strings taken off before I painted it. yup I would too take all cabled strings and cams off. Take it to your local bow shop I'm sure they will take off the strings and cables for you.
redkneck
I say if it's old enough to spray paint, it's old enough to not worry about masking it, lol.
92xj
You should also look into hydro graphics/imaging for it....

dbHunterNY
i know of two people to paint or dip their bows. one was a bow tech and stripped it down to paint the parts. that was a bowfishing bow. the other sent out a mathews to get the whole thing dipped to match the Ted Nugent arrows he shot. ScottyLuck
I would send it out to be dipped. I had my Alphamax dipped and it looks great. The finish will also hold up better than a home done paint job. Not to mention it won't stink like paint. If you insist on painting it I would wait until after the season. That smell may not dissipate in time. Also keep in mind that altering the finish on the bow will void the warranty if there is one or if that matters. bowhunter97
thanks i was going to wait till after season to do it so the swamp donkeys dont smell it

MUDRUNNER
I would strip it down and have it dipped or powder coated. If you do paint it I would use an automotive grade paint. Spray bomb may work, but doubt it would last very long.
