ruttinbuc
I felt it here in NJ. It rolled for quite awhile. Everything was shaking. I first thought it was heavy equipment or a tank going down the street. A little unnerving to say the least.
PA_Spike_King
I work in State College and believe you me it was felt by me and the woman in our office and that was the weirdest feeling in my whole life to date. LOL.
Tominator
I've felt one before, but not that one. A lot of people around here claim to have felt it. I was getting my bow re-strung at the time I think, either that or driving to the car dealership, but I didn't feel it.
wtnhunt
Heard some reports last night that it was felt into Canada, they also said that the quake was the largest to hit that area. Not seen any news today yet, hope there was not any serious damage to anything.
toddyboman
I had a buddy that is visiting DC area right now.....He said it was very odd. I can't say that I have every felt one. But I think its a matter of time before the new Madrid fault line in southern MO is going to do its thing.....
blackranny
Ya'll should've been here in southside VA! It was a weird feeling. You heard it first, then everything started shaking like heck. Lasted 30 -35 seconds. Then we had a good aftershock at 8 PM.

Adjam5
I am working 242' below grade at Ground Zero and I didn't feel a thing. We have no cell service down there and many of us did not even know there were evacuations in many buildings in NYC's financial district because of the quake. Many were quite pissed off of the lack of communications on the job. Wives were desperately trying to get in touch with their husbands and with no cell service...Well, you can imagine the panic. It will be addressed in tomorrows safety meeting.

But I think its a matter of time before the new Madrid fault line in southern MO is going to do its thing..... We are close to that new madrid fault line here. Have felt a few over the years. Also hearing there is damage to the Washington monument.
toddyboman
On a side note: I heard on the radio that a near by zoo said that the gorillas climbed trees minutes before the quake hit and some other animal was make screaming and carrying on 10 or so minutes before the quake hit. Shaun_300
The quake was felt here where I live, neighbours up the street said they felt it and saw a number of people on facebook from this area posted about it as soon as it happened! I never felt it myself though.
