The Kid
I always find it pretty cool to name your deer, if you see um on a regular bases and become pretty close with the animal some people like to name their bucks, so whatcha got this year who ya chasin. I have four decent bucks that are mature that I'm going after this year. I'm naming one dozer because he's pretty thick aroung the bases and another my little brother came up with is Kong, just because he's pretty massive, haven't figured out names for the other two just yet, but I have some ideas, zues and maybe Hollywood II because he looks like a deer that I called Hollywood last year. So lets hear your nicknames for the ones you'll be chasin this year.
NBomb500
Well, last year I went after a buck I called phantom. This year I hope phantom will be around, but then again maybe I won't know.haha Haven't been out enough this year to know yet, haven't got the game cams up either. I feel a little behind. You got some good names though!
MichiganHunter
I have a post up with a buck I am chasing. Have several videos of him and in many he is itching his nose. SO his name is the Itchy Buck
wtnhunt
Don't really get into naming bucks from trail cam pics. We have used generic names from trail cams like the "wide 8", seems we get one of those every year though. Have had deer we called lucky and spooky, but they got their names from encounters with them. That said there is one that has come around that seems to be a mature 8 that has my attention and he looks to be fairly wide.

abrown
Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat. You have to look at it another way though, what's the possibilty of a MUY GRANDE showing up, one that you've never seen! WHAT IF!!
need2hunt
I haven't started looking... but I know there is always at least one big boy running around my area
The Kid
I have got some more pictures with a 10 that I'm calling thor!! The best part about the summer is following the deer you'll be chasin in the fall I think, it's got me hooked

NBomb500
Yup that has always been my thinking...there is usually one big boy running around my area its just a matter of getting him before one of the other hunters does.

Haven't had cameras out in 2 years now and haven't been scouting since turkey season,I have no clue if there is even any deer there.

Jeramie
We saw a nice buck last year during early bow season. He spotted me and and busted. Didnt see him again after that... I will be after him this year. I know he didnt get hammered (hunt a very remote area) so I will have my eyes peeled! I also saw a few nice little bucks this year that will be shooters. If my year starts like last year and I dont make the same mistakes it should be a decent season... beyond that im hunting backstraps. TN Bucknasty
In years past, I've chased and killed The Ghost Buck, Even Steven, The Crazy Eight, Crabby, Slick, Buzz Ted, Pretty Boy, The One Eye Love, Roy Bean, and Lucky. Mr. Lonely is still on the hit list. He got his name because I've killed 5 other bigger bucks with him standing next to them over the past 4 years. Other than him, pickings look slim although I do have a 2 year old that I call The Metamucil Buck because he has been such a regular visitor. I had a 6 pointer that I called the OCD 6 because he showed up at 8:30am and 4:30pm every day for a single month. I have a lot of other names for deer I've seen. It's pretty fun to me to keep up with them.

Tominator
Not a real fan of naming bucks...seems fadish. Having said that, there's one that I posted about today in the bowhunting room I'd love to run an Easton through.
