Well that 160 class buck showed himself to me last night and he is impressive. The biggest question we have is his age. There's a serious possibility he's only 3.5. We are setting up another reconyx to try to capture him on film on this side of the farm.

This year has been unreal for mature deer on the farms. One thing I can say is that we have 4 farms that held our biggest deer that were not hunted until last weekend and it's really paid off. I still have two of the 4 not hunted. It's very hard to do, but I'm seeing results that I never would have believed.

I grunted/rattled in a very nice 10 point tonight around 5:30pm. He got within feet of my 30 yard shooting lane and stopped....turned around and went back to where he came from. So close....but just my luck.

Rink saw close to a dozen deer last night Tom. I had one walk behind me as I was getting down. Rink is at Steve's this morning. Planning on going back down to Dan's tonight...unless you want host us at Jay's :D
