Ohiobucks
Nice doe. She looks big. What did she dress out at? Well, I'm 6'-3" 285, and you can clearly see she has me by a good foot and a half....:turned: Not sure, she was a big old doe though... Stone Cold
Nice one ohio! Thanks Hoosier! I knocked down another doe last night. I am not having any good luck getting to even look at a buck that has more than 6 points and at least to his tips of ears. Really bad so far and I think it is because the new goose/pheasant hunters two fields over on a pond. All night last night I heard at least 60 shots and I only seen a big doe with two yearlings cross the river about 150 yards away. They just so happened to come my way "Towards the bangs!". I got lucky to get a shot at one and the big doe and button buck never came in close enough.
jcot2773
Guys I smoked a goofy racked 9 on Tuesday. He would have been a 10 but one of his split bows was broken almost to the y. I will get him entered as soon as I get back to FL from Illinois. There is another 14 points for us!
Jorden
Hey guys, shot a huge buck this morning. We searched most of the day and could not find him. Heres the story. http://www.realtree.com/forums/bowhunting/107078-just-sick.html#post1285472
HUNTINGMAN
Unabated to take a doe this morning with my 357mag. She was about 5 yards away and fell in her tracks. Only seen three all morning, another doe and possibly the biggest six I have ever seen. I had him in the crosshairs but elected not to shoot,it was just the first day of rifle season. hoosierhunter
Make sure you all get your deer posted! It's been some tough hunting lately here in IN. Our gun season just opened which makes my bowhunting not nearly as easy.

HUNTINGMAN
Rifle season has came and went for me this year with only a doe being harvested. Passed on a four point and a big six point. I still have to Jan 16 to bow hunt and the late muzzle seAson comeing up also. Tell you the truth guys it's not looking good on the farm and I knew it would be hard. All of the hard logging has taken a toll on the farm,it doesn't even look like the same place now and I know it has the deer pushed out to other farms. Oh well what's a man to do,it's all I have so I will have to make dew with it. I have only seen 4 small rubs and no scrapes all season. hoosierhunter
I was able to take my 4th and 5th does tonight. I saw 11 total. Only a small buck came out into the cut corn with those 10 does. I'll be out in the morning hunting a pinch point trying to catch cheetch or one of our other big deer checking for that last hot doe. Ohiobucks
Still at it here. Going out in the morning behind the house here, afternoon will be at another farm. Depending on what I see, I'll be out there somewhere Saturday AM as well.
hoosierhunter
Man I had a great night with a terrible ending. We have been trying to kill a 6.5 year old buck and I had the opportunity at him tonight and missed him. I'm just sick to my stomach. I've hunted so hard this year and finally the opportunity came and I sailed it over his back. He's such a great buck too. He never knew what happened but oppoerunities at a deer of this caliber just do not come around very often..............

Jorden
Congrats Hoosier, great deer.Rifle season came and went without many deer sightings. We were skunked for the 3rd year in a row. Havent been out late season yet. Waiting for some snow and/or cold weather. On the plus side, the buck I shot that we couldnt find, is alive!! He showed up on camera a few times last week.
