I have already got some good bucks on trail cam from both down here in Florida and up in Illinois. As for a team name any name will worrk for me.

fly from Illinois checking in! Tagged out sounds good to me. Been real dry this summer corn is already starting to be harvested in some areas. Should have some good activity by Oct. 1st. I don't own a trail camera, but I'm headed out Saturday to hang stands and do some scouting.

Hey everyone, it's good to be back! I believe our team will be very competitive this year. I'm always good for doe, and last year I missed a buck of a lifetime here in upstate NY. 4 NY hunters on this team - reminds me of the Smackdown-in-the-Daks at NYBuck's place. Tagged Out works for me. Good luck with your nuisance hunt Joe - should be more like "deer shooting" than hunting.

Looking forward to this year! Just joined a 5,000 acre lease about 30 minutes North of here. Only 20 members on it. That along with my current lease, the local Refuge and my own 180 acres, should keep me busy.

Also, hope to have some pics to post Sunday evening. Going to check my two trail cams that I put out Monday.

Wuz up peeps! Sorry I'm late checking in... been a little busy around here lately. My season starts Oct 1st. I'm hunting a new club this year. We have 12 members and 3,500 acres to hunt. Plenty of deer on the property so a doe should be a slam dunk. They try to only shoot the bigger bucks so we will see how that goes. I have one good 8pt on the 70 acres behind my house that my dad owns. Hope he sticks around for a while but I haven't seen him in a couple weeks now. I have a couple other good places to hunt too so I'm pretty pumped for the year! Can't wait to start climbing trees!

I like the name Tagged Out! If I get tagged out here in VA I'll have 3 bucks and 3 does on the ground. That would be a pretty good season! lol We get 75 doe tags at the club too so I can should as many as I want this year. Good luck everyone... like the nice pics posted so far. I will try and put up a few soon.

Taking off work tomorrow to scout my new lease. Drove it with a buddy of mine Saturday but didn't get out of the truck much. Looks great. It's actually 4,000 acres but borders some Core land(public). I would estimate there is around 3,000 acres of Core land between our lease and Little River. There are 4 roads that go through our land to reach the river but we're allowed to gate off 3 of those. We should have around 6,000 or so acres that are only reachable by our gated roads or the river.

Excited! It's not very often that I get to hunt new land.

Hey MCH, I'm happy for you - best of luck. Just remember, it's all about the best 20 yards!

Got my treestands up last weekend. 2 stands in the same (highly productive) spots and one in a new location that should produce based on last year's observation and this year's scouting.

A group of students from a nearby college are making a movie in my hunting area. It's a war scene with trenches, barbed wire and the like. They let me watch them film a scene where a soldier gets shot... Anyway, the crew will be gone by the time bow season opens. Really nice folks btw.

My biggest challenge will be getting to my area - I have to buy a car SOON! Hoping to pick up a winter beater.
