Congrats Dosse! She looks like a pretty hefty nanny.

My hunt Saturday was pretty uneventful. The weather was great. I did have a doe and two fawns about 40 yards behind me, but no way i could get a shot. It felt good just to be back in the woods again. I'm going to try and get out again this weekend, but it looks like the weather is supposed to warm back up into the 80's.

It doesnt look like I'll make it out this weekend. My daughter has a soccer game tomorrow morning, and I need to finish putting our fireplace mantle on. Then Sunday is my boys birthday party and I need to put brakes on my truck. The weather looks awefull this weekend with highs in the mid 80's, so I figure it's a good weekend to get this stuff done. Hopefully it cools off next week.

Hey team.

Had a good hunt this morning. I went to the same place as yesterday, knowing there were plenty of deer around even though they were well hidden yesterday. This time I had deer within range 5 times. First time was too dark to tell what it was, second time 2 bucks came by but it was still too dark to see my pins, third was a small fawn - all were within 20 yards. Then along came this doe and I had to wait for a good shot at 34 yards. Zipped a 100 gr G5 Montec out of old faithful, my Hoyt Razortec, through her lungs and later found the arrow just beyond where she had stood. She kicked, ran about 40 yards, stopped, wobbled, and fell over. I was giving her enough time to ensure she expired before going to retrieve her and another doe came in to about 25 yards. It's nice and cool here now so she's hanging skinned in the garage and the tenderloins are in the freezer. I'm just entered her in the scoring thread.

Hey dosse - we need your pictures in the scoring thread also.:)
