ilhnter
Congrats on the doe dave. I went out on Monday and Tuesday, but didn't see anything. Once again the weather was warm, pushing 80 degrees. I will be back at it Halloween and it looks to be quite a bit cooler. I'm ready for the cooler weather to move in and stay! Good luck everyone! swohiodave
Went out this morning and saw 9 does, none of them came in close enough for a shot though. I found 2 more scrapes within 50 yards of my treestand. Be back at it next weekend.( the wife asked me if i was going again tomorrow knowing that I said i would do some painting)

dbHunterNY
i went out this morning and trudged through the snow. i saw a big mature doe, but a falling limb scared her off out of range. once the sunny got higher in the sky it was like a meteor shower of snow. all of it started falling off the canopy of the timber. yesterday evening before the whiteout came in the deer and turkeys were out feeding. just nothing big enough that was close enough. had five hens running in to my calling will i was on stand. had a bobble and never got a shot. headed back out in a little bit to a different farm. lots of activity in this spot during the afternoons so my fingers are crossed. sskybnd
well team seasons starting to take shape now, ya'l knew i killed a doe early oct but never found the disc, well i made up for today, made a big mistake friday morning, my stand is 40 ft in a pine with 2 limbs that make a v for cover, well i had an 8 point come in and from the sitting position looked like he was going threw the gap about 4 foot wide so i told myslf as soon as he gets on this side of the branch id stand up, he never came. so i stood up just to find a 30yard opening that he was just in, i judged the distance for 35 yards when i ranged it was 32, could have been a dead deer had i stood up when i seen him. but nice to know he's in the area rut should come in, in a few weeks, had 4 does this morning come in and shot one of them, ive got my meat for the year so know to get a buck on the ground heres a pic of the doe from this morning

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Congrats sskybnd and the one! I haven't had much time to get out lately. Have a full time school scheduale during the week, then it seems like we have had some sort of family function going on every single weekend! In less than two weeks I'll be sitting in a blind in the U.P. waiting for something to walk by, I love this time of year.

woolybear
The one- great buck man! Congrats! I've been passing bucks nearly every day and put a bad hit on a good one today. Haven't had a doe in range yet or even seen many of them far as that goes. Things have really picked up here just when my shooting hits the skidz. This week should be good.
