mikebohio Posted September 8, 2011 Report Share Posted September 8, 2011 ohio does not offer an online course. call 1800wildlife to find a course near us. last year they had a course at ponderosa in calcutta. if he already missed all the local courses he can still get an apprentice license. go to the ohio dnr site for info. Looks like Mike is right here, just checked and the pagewith listings of states where the course is available does not list Ohio Hunter Safety Course with Online Exam - Get Your Hunting License or Certification. backwoodsbowhunter Posted September 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 I was looking around and reading up about Ohio online courses. I found that you may take it online but in order to complete it you must take all your online quiz scores in with you and do a 3-4 hour in classroom session and take your written test.
