victor3ranger
Due to combat injuries I can't shoot my compound anymore, so this year I bought a Barnett Buck Commander. For those of you who have been shooting for a while what broadheads are you using? I would like to stick with a fixed 3 blade if possible since I still have several new ones. Does it help to line up the blades with the fletch on these? Or does it really matter? Do the fixed blade broadheads fly pretty close to the field points?? swohiodave
It all depends on what your bow likes. I have always had good luck with Thunderheads, both in 100gr and 125gr. I have a new pack of spitfires i will be using this year. I shoot a horton explorer and had it push a thunderhead through a does longways just fine last year. went in around the shoulder and i pulled it out in the rump. mikebohio
i had problems with fixed blade accuracy but that dont mean you will. i shoot the rage now and they are exactly the same as the field points.
DropTine49
NAP HellRazors!! They fly like fieldpoints in crossbows as well as compound bows.
