Turkeygirl
Any one out chasing squirrels? Season started Sept. 1 here. I went out that day, actually took a friend out with me but it rained and we never saw anything, but had a good time. Think I'll go out tomorrow AM. Seemed they were hitting Beech and soon should be hitting Hickory. Wil ltake the Ruger.22 with me.

MichiganHunter
going to get out on friday. Going to run the 17hmr and do head shots only....more of a challange but I only need 3 or 4 to make a meal and where i hunt i can kill squirrels and chucks along the same edge of the field. hungry hunter
There all over the place Ruth, I don't like to hunt them until the first frost becasue of warbles. The cold kills them.We killed over 200 in the oak hammock we live in last year. Good luck, mainly use the .32 muzzleloader.
