I remembered someone had asked Joe, just couldn't remember who. Thanks for the link, some good reading in there on the CNET review site. We have a best buy, sams, and walmart here, I'm sure I'll find something.

How noticeable is the 60/120/240 refresh rates from set to set?

Also thought this looked like a decent package

Walmart.com: VIORE 42" Class LCD 1080P 60Hz HDTV, LC42VF56, 6ft HDMI Cable with Choice of Home Theater System,TV Bundle: TV & Video

But have never heard of Viore

Some day, historians will look at back at the causes of the fall of this great nation.

Television will surely be listed as one of the greatest, if not the greatest reason.

95% of what's on TV is trash yet the people watch it not knowing what else to do with their idle time.

I say kill your television.

You and your family will be smarter, happier and more blessed whithout it.

From an old Frank Zappa tune:

I am gross and perverted

Im obsessed n deranged

I have existed for years

But very little had changed

I am the tool of the government

And industry too

For I am destined to rule

And regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious

But you can't look away

I make you think Im delicious

With the stuff that I say

I am the best you can get

Have you guessed me yet?

I am the slime oozin out

From your tv set

You will obey me while I lead you

And eat the garbage that I feed you

Until the day that we don't need you

Don't go for help...no one will heed you

Your mind is totally controlled

It has been stuffed into my mold

And you will do as you are told

Until the rights to you are sold

That's right, folks..

Don't touch that dial

Well, I am the slime from your video

Oozin along on your livinroom floor

I am the slime from your video

Cant stop the slime, people, lookit me go

240 Hz is where it's at right now... so don't get that! lol you'll pay for it. my sharp 48" is 120 Hz and I think it works more than well enough. It can keep up with a charging brown bear through a creek in HD on the outdoor channel, so that's good enough for me. Visio's at walmart are good quality picture for the price. I got my Sharp 48" LCD 120Hz for $699 a couple years ago. It was an online advertised only one day sale before the black friday craziness.
