wyohunter
Well im going on my first bow hunt after giving the sport up 25 years ago. people like Steve B, Randy O and buckee got me interested in trying it again. so i bought a new bow ( martin) and everything i should need, been shooting it all summer, at 20, 30 and 40 yards im pretty darn good. so i called a buddy in Michigan the other night, we planned a trip, so early october i will be sitting in the michigan woods ( where i grew up) and giving this sport another try....wish me luck for the record.... my alergys used to be so bad durring the bow seasons in wyoming, it was just a big waste of time being out hunting, now after along time they have lessened quite a bit, so thats why i stopped bow hunting. Jeramie
Welcome back to the swing of things. Sometimes things make me think twice about packing my bow into the woods but I cant picture myself hanging up my bow for 25 years! Good luck and hope it works out for you.... Archery hunting is as good as it gets.
wyohunter
yeah well i couldnt go into the woods without sneezing and wheezing, my eyes swelling shut, or being so medicated all i could do is fall asleep...lol now all i get is a little itchy eye so it wont be as big of deal....i never gave up on hunting, just did it with my rifle a little later in the year... dbHunterNY
good thing is i'm sure whitetails haven't changed at all since you started your temporary break. gadgets that have popped up since then, you're probably better off without. good to hear you're willing and able now.
