your best and easiest bet is to use a good electronic caller with a remote. if there's two of you have one take a turkey gun and the other a rifle. They will come in and start to circle down wind. So setup with the shotgunner on the down wind side of the rifle shooter. Try to stay away from stainless steel or anything shiny on you or your equipment. I highly recommend the Primos Mastering the Arts Instructional DVD with Randy Anderson. He's a music teacher and it shows.

any prey sound will work, justbe patiant, i would stay away from any vocalazation till you catch on to what sounds are needed when, biggest theng while coyote hunting is setting up in a position were you will see him before he smells you, know the wind the coyote will most likely try to get downwind, sneek in very quiet, like you are going to a deer stand, sit down, throw a few distress sounds out there, sit and wait quetly and still, they will spot movement very easy, [be camoed good] sit for a few minutes then do 30 more seconds of calling, make the call sound like blood gurgling in a throat of a rabbit trying to catch its breath, keep this up for 1/2 hour or more, in my opinion early year and windier days most will be in within 15 minutets, later on when they get warry, I have had up to a hour. Some guys start up with a light sequence[quiet] I say its great in thick brush encase a coyote is close, I hunt mainly open pasture and fields I start as loud as I can, I have read articles that the jolt of the loudness will make a sleeping coyote get more exited, no idea but I do reccomend in thick brush start out with lighter volume.

good luck !!
