Just got the Mathews Z7 extreme. 60 lbs, 27 inch draw. I am very excited. I am keeping my wisker biscuit rest, my tru glo sights, and my peep sight. will be shooting a string loop.

I am gonna get new arrows as well. Any recommendations?

Any other recommendations for my new setup? I was shooting a Martin speedfire magnum from 2001.

Congrats on the new bow.Right now, I'm shooting the BEEMAN mfx Bone Collectors. They are great arrows, but right now any arrow that is heavy enough and in my opinion has Blazer vanes is an excellent arrow. THe only reccomendation that I have is if you shoot the BEEMAN's or Easton's don't shoot the HIT (Hidden Insert Technology) inserts. All I have found they do is cause the end of the arrow to bust/fracture a lot easier than a traditional insert.

Soft cam, so it won't require to be overspined to tune well. Look for something that you can do the math and get a good finished weight out of. I Shoot a .400 spine Gold Tip out of my Invasion at 65 lbs. Finished weight with broadhead is 397gr. Shoots awesome! Check out gold tip arrows. I think a .400 spine (the 5575 GT) will be more than enough for that bow.

Also may I suggest putting this on a draw board and checking idler lean at full draw. I have seen that these have been prone to pretty harsh Idler lean.

Easton has a fix for the HIT insert now its called the BAR, Broadhead Adapter Ring. It transfers energy away from the tip end of the arrow.
