DropTine49
I was shooting 9.0 gpi BEMAN's at a total of 367 grains. Yesterday I bought the Carbon Express PileDrivers (not because I had issues, the BEMAN's gave me good pass throughs, just needed new arrows) at 10.4 gpi with a total arrow weight of 431 grains. Back to 30 yards they seem to fly about the same. I was wandering what weight others were shooting and how they performed.
dbHunterNY
Easton carbon Lightspeed 340's 29" @8.2 grs per inch. total weight with head, collar, etc. is 380 grains. they shoot well out passed 60 yards, but my FOC isn't bad. First time i'll be hunting with them. I assume I'll get pass throughs within 30 yards, shooting Rage heads, with no problems at all.
jcot2773
Gold tip xt hunters at 27 1/2 inches. Total finished weight 397 grains. Had no problems getting a pass through on a 59lb draw weight last year with a pretty soft cam. The invasion is throwing them at around 297 to 299 fps. I will have no problems with pass throughs this year either.

Tony
I have been shooting the same arrow for 4 years now. Goldtip Pro Hunter 5575 8.2 grs per inch, cut at 28.75 inches. with 100 gr Muzzys they top out at 386 grs. i shoot them out of either my 2010 Hoyt Carbon Matrix or my 2005 Hoyt Ultratec. i get pin point accuracy with them out to 60 yards. FOC is 11.4. took me about 3 years to find what combination out of my setups shoots great for me. Tony
