Jesse_Whitetail-Reaper
Well tonight I'm going to try to hunt the heat... Last year I had luck. Has anyone else success on hunting the heat?
jbeck
not sure where you are at, but if you are talking hunting when it is warm I've had limited experience. but hey it's good to be hunting
brendonp
get close to the bedding areas, or where you usually first see the deer with normal conditions. If the wind is even close to being wrong avoid any of your favorite spots
Rhino
Heat is usually the way it is here during at least the first couple of weeks of the season. Sure I've had success. Deer here have dealt with it all summer and are still on a late summer feeding pattern when our season opens. Seeing bucks in the morning is rare but afternoons are OK for the the first week or so until they figure out they're being hunted. Just about all my MS bow season buck kills have occurred during the first week.
DropTine49
Good Luck, The heat is a tricky thing. Right now I'm hunting food plots in buddy stands with burlap so I can go in shorts to help with the heat. They seem to be moving that last hour before dark pretty regular around here.
