stevebeilgard
ben, you'll be hunting the same ranch where i took jeff and artie. we should see lots of deer and fill up in a day or 2. the only problem is all the elk may ruin our stalks... lol. in fact, i'll be taking tim out there next fall. i even offered him elk if he's up to the challenge. j/k. it's about a 5% chance of drawing will be tims only problem. in fact, i think i'll make a post in this room for others who may want an elk. elk anyone? wtnhunt
Hurry up Ben, I'm ready to see some pics! Me too. Excited for ya Ben. Have a safe drive there. Gonna help you out with your anticipation a little. lol. Here is a shed I picked up next to the last day we hunted, think Steve said it would have been about a 24 inch deer if I am remembering right. Wish we could have found the deer that dropped it, but maybe he is still out there. :void(0)'>

Dunno if anyone else hunted that area for deer after we left Ben, so suppose there is a chance that deer could still be alive, 2 years more of growing. Think the rancher said that particular area was where a real nice deer had been, you will have to ask Steve about that. the only problem is all the elk may ruin our stalks... lol. lol. Think we saw more elk than we did deer. Couple real nice bulls too. Too bad it was not elk season and I did not have an elk tag in my pocket the next to last day we hunted.
