I need a new string silencer

I was practicing the other night when I looked down and saw the star shaped string silencer that came with my Hoyt laying on the deck. I was planning to go back to the dealer and get it replaced but I was wondering if there is a better product out there. Should I go with Sims this time or something else? What would you recommend?

Thanks!

Joe I had the stock ones fly off my Diamond bow within a dozen shots... i put Sims Everlast Leeches on and they seem to hold up really well. Used the whiskers on my first bow. Not sure if they slow your string down much because of drag. never tested it but they dampen the noise good. any sort of leech and i'd go with the Everlasts.

Cat whiskers were all I ever used. This year the guy who told me that is all I'll ever need changed my mind to the Sims Everlast Leeches. Go figure.

that's the same switch i made... the whiskers would ice up a little bit when it was really wet, cold, and just plain nasty out. rarely are bowhunters out in that weather though. best stalking weather there is, but yea.

Sims has always worked for me,the new monkey tails seem to do a good job also since I put them on with the new string and cable.

I put the Monkey Tails on last fall just prior to season. They work great at supressing twang but already this year they are both dry rotted where they wrap around the string and ready to be replaced before they fly off.
